First, confirm the patient is not over-minused and that there is no residual astigmatism present. Adjust the lens power as necessary.
To troubleshoot multifocal vision complaints:
- Do not make any changes until the patient has been wearing the lenses for at least two weeks. Adapting to the optical system of the Duette Multifocal lens is like adapting to progressive glasses. Making changes to the lens parameters before adaptation has taken place greatly increases the likelihood of failure.
